To A Father, Teacher and True Friend
A teenager you were, came upon this shore,
Filled with hope and prayer, journey anew to look for,
Relentless and fearless you pushed afore,
Helping and sharing, you believed there is more.
With sweat and tears and pain we'll never know,
You hid it all, when we looked upon you,
Never once you let your hands go,
From the grip of guidance, we seek of you.
Trouble you not, people around you,
For strength you held, reserved for us all,
The selfless being sampled by you,
Your steps we will follow, even when we fall.
Tis not the end of life, but a yatra of the soul,
Our hearts rejoice in moments, we shared on this earth,
Meet we shall, when it's our time to set sail,
Cherish you we will, till the end of our breaths.
May your Soul dance in the gardens of Heaven.
