The Athma Shanti prayers will be held on Thursday, 25 Feb. 2010 (7pm) at 6 Lorong Tampoi 7, Taman Tampoi Baru 14000 BKT MERTAJAM, PENANG.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude & heartfelt thanks to all relatives and friends for their kind prayers, presence, assistance, messages of condolences & wreaths during their recent bereavement.

Please treat this as a personal invitation from the family.

Qing Ming Festival

Every year during the period between the end of March and early April, the Chinese community celebrates Qing Ming (Cheng Beng) which is a festival to remember and honour their ancestors and particularly marked by visits to their grave sites.

To make things memorable, we allow you to upload details of your ancestors to our website. The information will be categorised and published according to the date of their demise (following the English or Chinese calendar).

Information needed are as follow:

Name of the deceased (in English or Chinese)
Sex (Male & Female)
Date, year & place of birth (if available)
Date & year of demise ( in English or Chinese calender)
Place of burial (which cemetery site and the nearest town name)
Your relationship with the deceased & your name (Sender) as well.
Other important information that you would like add (eg: message or dedication to the deceased, your fond memories of the deceased, etc)

To make it easy and simple, you can just snap a digital photo of your ancestor’s grave site, especially showing the frontside of the tombstone ( 墓碑 ) and send via email to us at lovefamilie@gmail.com

If you do so, we will post you a timely reminder via email informing you the anniversary of your ancestor's demise. Who knows, you may wish to mark the occasion with special prayers or hold a memorial function together with your family members.
