Choong Khuat Hock (Male)

A TRIBUTE TO HOCK

Choong Khuat Hock
(1961-2010)

Claire Barnes:
"Hock tended to see the best in everyone, and the fun in every situation. His smile was infectious. Working with Hock was never dull. It is remarkable how may of us chose to do it over and over again!

Ng Kay Yip:
"Your mobile always left a personalised cheery voice mail, saying that you would return our call as soon as possible. Without fail, you would call back wherever you may be. I am sure you are now busy taking down messages. And we hope to see you again in a different time and place. Until then... Rest well, my friend."

Stephen Hagger:
"Hock gave me shelter & friendship when I first arrived in KL. He was my sifu. He hired me at BZW, which became CS. While latterly a fund manger, he remians, in my view, Malaysia's best ever stock broker & of course prankster. He is missed by many."

Anne Beins:
"You are the best boss a secretary could ever have and ever want in her career especially during a stressful moments a work. For being the gentle boss as you are, you set the tone for all of us at the office. There is no place for anger and disharmony but only cooperation and open discussion for discontentment."

Tan Sri Dr. Francis Yeoh:
"We have lost a great intellect, a brilliant analyst and a caring and gentle friend. Hock will be deeply missed."

Norhayati Md Derus:
"The child in him is what I miss most. He's not just a friend but family to all of us. He's such a fun loving guy, caring with a heart of an Angel."

Dato' Yeo How:
"Hock was someone who had always lived each day of his life fully, on his terms and with no regrets. I will take this as his parting inspiration for me."
